Nino Paid Arlington Concert reviews

The amazing show put on by Nino Paid featured fantastic graveyard set design, supported by some killer pyrotechnics. A nice touch was the changing backdrop too. They only played a 1 1/2 hour set, which was the only problem. They could have easily played for another half hour and included some great songs like "Beast and the Harlot", "Scream", "Almost Easy", "Dear God", and "Girl I Know". Nothing from the Diamonds in the Rough album was played, which is a minor problem that won't deter me from seeing them next time they're in town.
The opening act choices were interesting. The first act was New Medicine, a post-punk band with great energy, likely to headline their own tour in the future. Following them was rap-rock group Hollywood Undead, who I absolutely abhorred their style of music, but they managed to put on a decent stage show for their fans. The final opening act was Stone Sour, who put on a bland show and should probably be renamed The Corey Taylor Experience, as the focus was solely on him throughout their set. New Meds was given 30min, while Undead and Stone Sour both had 45min each.
